Prof. Hongzheng Chen (Group leader of organic semiconductor lab) | more...
Organic Semiconductors Lab (OSL) is currently focusing on the basic and application research work on organic semiconductor materials and the related optoelectronics, including molecular design of novel organic semiconductors, development of organic composite optoelectronic materials, fabrication and functionalization of nanomaterials, organic optoelectronic devices, and biosensors etc.. OSL has built long-term collaborations with IMEC of Belgium, Stanford University and UCLA of USA. "Organic Opto-Electronic Center" was established in 2006 joint with Prof.Yang Yang from UCLA under the framework of Zhejiang-California International Nanosystems Institute.
Prof. Hongzheng Chen joined Department of Polymer Science & Engineering at Zhejiang University after obtaining her PhD degree at the same university in 1994. She became a full professor in 1999. Due to her fruitful research work, she was granted a Youth Chemist Honor of Chinese Chemical Society in 2000. She was also selected for the century scholar training project from the Ministry of Education of China in 2001, and was granted a National Outstanding Youth Scientific Funding in 2002. She has been in charging of more than 18 projects from NSFC, MOST, Zhejiang Province and Ministry of Education of China, and has published more than 200 refereed papers, and issued 11 patents.
