The 2013 New Year's Party of DPSE

On the evening of Dec. 25th, teachers and students at DPSE got together happily in Multi-function Hall, Yongqian Students’ Center where decorations were hanging up for 2013 New Year’s Party. More than twenty teachers participated in this party, including Dean Zhikang Xu, Vice-dean Qingwen Wang, Teacher Kehua Tu, Prof. Changyou Gao, Prof. Zhiqiang Fan, and etc. All the people presented enjoyed themselves and had a good time at the party.

The party consisted of three parts: “Poetry of The Day After”, Thanks to the hardworking teachers!”and “Dream 2013”. Excellent performances were shown by students coming from the four undergraduate classes and the three research institutes in DPSE. Prof. Jingzhi Sun, Prof. Zhiqiang Fan, Teacher Jun Chen and teachers from the department office were also invited to sing, act or read poetry at the second part of this party. The scene was full of surprises and laughs. All the teachers and students were immersed in a warm and lively atmosphere and had a good fun. The appearance of “Renren Wall” added a bright color to the party as well.

The party ended with cheering after three hours’ performing and playing. Thanks to teachers and students for programming and acting, and thanks to leaders and student cadres for exerting themselves to successfully hold this party!
