In the afternoon of December 6, the award ceremony of “Yuxing Technology Scholarship” was held in the conference room of Polymer Building. The general manager Quan Liu, vice-general manager Shouzhong Liu from Yuxing Company, Dean of DPSE Zhikang Xu, vice Dean Qingwen Wang, the secretary of Research & Development Section Yang Hongmei, students’ counselor Meng Jiao, as well as the award-winners and student representatives attended the ceremony.
It started with Zhikang Xu’s openning speech at 13:30. Xu first expressed his appreciation to Yuxing Company for their establishing scholarships and offering internship opportunities to our department, and then he extended his congratulations on award-winners. Xu addressed that, Yuxing Company had provided great support for our department’s education, and meanwhile, we had always conducted strong cooperation with Yuxing Company. In that case, the mutual cooperation in personnel training and technological research & development definitely create great benefits for both parties. Later, Zhikang Xu, Qingwen Wang and representatives from Yuxing Company delivered the certificates of merit to winners. Afterwards, postgraduate Chen Ye from DPSE gave a speech, expressing his appreciations to Yuxing’s sponsor, campus education and master’s instruction.
In the end, the general manager Quan Liu from Yuxing Company addressed a special report, exhaustively introducing the Company’s history and its expectations for talents. Also, the Company representatives had extensive communications with students on spot, and even offered some instructions on job hunting to graduates. We hope that our students could make persistent efforts and achieve more accomplishments, so as to make contributions to our society!
