On the day of December 16th, the “polyfun” sports meeting in chapter “polymerization · life” of the fifth polymer festival was held as dated. Regardless of the light rain, students cherished high expectation and enthusiasm for the sports meeting. At 1:00 pm, the students participated and staffs from culture and sports department of student union gathered on the track of Fengyu playground, waiting for the opening of the sports meeting in excitement.
With a rich variety of competition events, the “polyfun” sports meeting mainly consisted of two parts: individual events and team events.
The individual events were made of rope skipping, sit-ups, Hula Hoop and football bowling. Owing to their simple procedures, those events all ended with wide participation. Consequently, some “experts” hidden in the crowd stood out, astonishing their fellow students with their “power” and “talent”.
Constituent of tug-of-war, crab dribbling and five people but six feet running, the team events required g ood group cooperation. Only with well-balanced cooperation could the team win the game. In full preparation for every competition, all team members worked at their full stretch to search for the best cooperation strategy, and finally charged ahead bravely. This special experience made students who were not familiar with each other before become good friends. Under prolonged cheers and applause, several additional tug-of-wars were held beyond plan. And students seemed highly interested in this one-on-one game, all itching to join in. Further more, the team work of the two girls added more attractions and fun to the little game.
Time flies when you are having fun! It is the happiness you felt when you freed and fully immersed yourself in sports with your friends on this Sunday afternoon, rather than the results of the game that matters.
