In the beautiful golden fall, the sky looked so clean and so high and traces of clouds were drifting there over your head. Tender feelings and warm affections were arising in the hearts of the people immersed in the traditional festival, the double ninth festival. The double ninth festival is a special festival. In Chinese culture, nine is seen as a lucky number. When two nine appears at the same day, luckiness and goodness will be doubled in the very day. So in this day, we invited all the retired teachers of DPSE to have lunch together, extending our respect and love to them for their contributions to our DPSE.
Vice-dean Qingwen Wang, on behalf of the leading group, sent the blessing and greeting to the retired teachers and thanked them for their contributions to our department, hoping them to live a healthier and happier life in their golden years!
The retired teachers said that it was quite a happy thing to get the care and attention from the department. And they were still concerned about the development of DPSE and Zhejiang University. They also expressed their hope that our DPSE and Zhejiang University would march into a new stage.
In the whole process, you could feel the harmony and sincere affections floating between each other. The lunch may be simple but the affections were full and deep, which even brightened the sunshine of the autumn.
The vice-dean of DPSE, Hongzheng Chen, the chairman of the labor union, Kehua Tu and vice-director of biomedical institute, Changyou Gao took part in the activity.
