Yu Xing Membrane Technology Company is a joint stock enterprise located in Jiangsu Province. The company cooperates with DPSE in certain field and the cooperation project recently reaches a new stage.
On Aug. 22th, Shouzhong Liu, the vice president of the company, together with twelve of his colleagues, visited DSEP and communicated with the faculty members. Although it was in summer vacation, there were still many staffs of DPSE participating in this symposium, including Prof. Zhikang Xu, the dean of DPSE, Prof. Hongzheng Chen and Prof. Qi Wang, both serve as the vice dean, as well as Prof. Liming Jiang, Prof. Yihu Song, Prof. Junting Xu, Associate Prof. Weipu Zhu and Associate Prof. Mao Peng, who are cooperating with the enterprise.
Prof. Zhikang Xu introduced DPSE briefly at the beginning of the symposium; afterwards the Vice President Liu reported the latest development of the project. He highly praised the work of the professors collaborating with the company, especially the program “Modification of PET and Preparation of the PET Reflecting Film applied in LCD” which was conducted by Associate Prof. Mao Peng. This program contributed invaluably to the preliminary industrialization of the product, the excellent properties of which were reserved after being put in large-scale production. Due to this enormous success, it can be expected that we no longer have to import the same product from foreign countries. Mr. Liu spoke highly of this program and all participants in the meeting also warmly applauded in praise of the achievement.
Furthermore, the group leaders of both sides shared with each other about their own work relevant to the project. They summarized what they had done and drafted a new scheme, via extensive communication, to carry out the following work. The visitors also paid a visit to the building of department. They were so impressed with the affluent knowledge of our professors and various kinds of advanced devices in the research center of DPSE. There is no doubt that it was a mutual rewarding experience to the company and DPSE as well.
