Professor Richard Jordan is the Dean of the Department of Chemistry, Chicago University. He achieved his Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Rutgers University in 1975, and his Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from Princeton University in 1981. His main research interests are in organometallic chemistry, olefin catalyst and polymers. He has published 258 papers, including 51 in JACS and 1 in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., and 14 patents. His papers have been cited over 8700 times, and he has an H-index of 56.
Prof. Jordan has been invited to join Zhejiang University as a lecture professor in DPSE. On Nov. 14th, an appointment ceremony was held and Prof. Qi Wang addressed a speech of welcome.

On the following days, Prof. Jordan will provide a series of lectures focused on organometallic catalysts. We welcome students to attend the lectures and chances are offered to communicate with Prof. Jordan in person.
