News & Information Center (NIC), which was founded last year, is an organization responsible to report significant news of faculty. With the involvement of new members, the center was endowed with more vitality. Hence, on October 19th, a meeting was held in Mingzhu Loft to welcome those newcomers to join NIC, a lively family with solidarity and harmony.
The meeting began at 6:00pm, hosted by Jianliang Xiao, director of the center. He generally introduced NIC especially the role it played in the faculty, conveying the necessity of joint effort and interactive collaboration since the center was actually in its young stage. Then Mr. Xiao confirmed the responsibilities of every member in the organization and deployed the recent work that they should accomplish. An in-depth discussion about the working scheme and strategies was also carried out later on, in which the participants put forward a number of practical and helpful advices and solutions to certain existing issues.
The meeting was followed with the self introduction of newcomers. They all indicated that they would devote themselves to NIC and do their best to make as many contributions as they can, via sustaining efforts and extensive cooperation with others. They also had a good time during the meeting since there were some entertaining games held by Yi Hu. By playing together, the mutual relationships among them were then enhanced as they knew more about each other. Happiness and joy enshrouded the whole loft with the fall and rise of laughter and applause.
The establishment of News & Information Center and the participation of new members undoubtedly play a crucial part in propagandizing DPSE. We believe their efforts will make a difference. Let’s wish them to make more progress and expect their excellent performance in the next period!
