On September 24th, the "Three Goods Cup" swimming competetion of Zhejiang University was kicked off at Zi-jin-gang Campus. The representative team of DPSE, comprising of undergraduates and postgraduates with Yuhang Tang as the captain, participated in the competetion, which is the debut of our department since the university regulation of faculties.
Matches started in the afternoon, every participant dressed themselves in advance and warmed up on the pool side. Participants were generally highly proficient at swimming, even including members of school team as well as winners of higher level matches. Under the circumstances, some chose to give up, however, participants of DPSE accepted the challenges and sticked it out, demonstrating the spirit of bravely confronting hardship.

Finally, the tenacious team members got repaid:
Jingcheng Cao, got the fifth and the seventh place separately, in women's 50-meter backstroke and 100-meter breaststroke matches; Yinjia Zhang, got the eighth place in the 50-meter breaststroke match; Yuhang Tang, got the sixth in the men's 50-meter breaststroke match. After great efforts of all members, we got the eighth prize in the 8×50 meter freestyle relay match and finally ranked the ninth for group in this swimming match of "Three Goods Cup".
Having obtained such achievements was a great encouragement to all students of department of polymer science and engineering. Through this competetion, not only the spirit of bravely confronting challenges has been promoted, but the Student Union's ability of team working has been demonstrated.
We expected excellent performance in next swimming competetion of "Three Goods Cup".
