--Low carbon propaganda activity launched by Students from department of polymer science and engineering, Zhejiang University
Though the light rain falling, under the lead of the Youth League Committee, more than 20 student volunteers from the department of polymer science and engineering, came to Xiyuan community in Hangzhou and developed the activity of 'Propagating low carbon science, practicing low carbon ideas' with the theme.
The activity which embraces the values of "learning through play" was carried out in various ways concerning children living in the community, such as sketches, stage shows, on-the-spot interaction. The purpose of the activity is to enlighten the children that low carbon is a life attitude originates from ourselves rather than a life style.
Being attended by wild applause of the audience, the activity came to a climax during on-the-spot interaction stage, in which the excellent participants were awarded "low carbon" presents such as environment-friendly shopping bags, potted plants. "It was so interesting and meaningful, I learned a lot from the activity. I hope there will be more of such kind of activities in the future",said by one of the kids.
The propaganda activity of low carbon won wide support and high marks from community party committee besides Youth League Committee. Media at all levels such as Hangzhou Daily, Hangzhou Television covered the activity on the spot.
I firmly believe that every little makes a mickle, our lifestyle habits will improve gradually by accumulation of little detail actions and acclimatize to the requirements of low carbon.
