2013 Zhejiang university sports games, opened on the morning of October 25th spent two golden autumn days in the beautiful Zijin campus.In the opening ceremony, the campaign of “running in the morning sunshine” was launched by our headmaster Linjianhua.
Our DPSE called on two representative groups: one of the undergraduates, the other of the graduates, who together contributed a wonderful performance for all of us.
On the first day, athletes went into the formal routine of the games, after running in the morning sunshine. Almost in all sports items, our DPSE’s players, especially our dear teachers achieved good results. Some results of our teachers follows: teacher Xuhong got first rank in the elder standing long jump and teacher Pengmao, fifth rank in the male mid-age shot game.
In the following games, our DPSE’s athletes persevered in the hot road of seeking success. Seeing their excellent play and high ambitions, we believe the triumphant horns will sound till the day of returning home.
On the second day, as expected, our DPSE athletes went on to get good results in such items as 200-meter race, 800-meter race, 10×60 mixed coming relay, and javelin and shot throwing. Their spiritual character and perseverance won our strong recognition.
After these excellence and wonderfulness, the games got at the closing ceremony. Medals were appointed to the excellent by the judge. Leaders of our School gave their warm support and praise to them. Our DPSE feel honored to have got the medal of spiritual civilization, which was a fruit of our DPSE’s polymeric civilization.
With the fireworks blooming in the sky came the end of the sports games.
