Qiaoling Hu received a master’s degree at Chemistry Department of Hangzhou University in 1996. She joined the department in 1998 and worked as an associate professor until 2004, when she got her Ph.D. degree on material science at Zhejiang University and became a professor at the same time. Her research interests focus on naturally biomedical polymer materials, such as chitosan/hydroxyapatite or calcium phosphate nanocomposites used as internal fixation of bone fracture and medical application of biomimetic polymers. She has published more than 50 scientific papers in peer-reviewed journal and powered 5 patents.
