RESEARCH INTRESTS
1) Basic studies of polymer solutions for establishing the relation between molecular parameters of polymer quantitatively or qualitatively.
2) Studies on the chain size-conformation of polymers in solutions, morphology-structures in bulk, applications-functions in both solutions and solids, and establishing the relation between molecular parameters and functions.
3) Studies on the preparation-structure-property-application of soluble polyelectrolyte complexes (PECs), Such as, Lay-by-layer self-assembly, fractal, PECs/inorganic hybrids and pervaporation separation membranes.
4) Synthesis-structure-property of copolymers with partly charges and applications, Such as, nanofiltration membranes, and composite films for packaging.
5) Ultrafiltration membrane and application in water treatment.
