应高分子科学与工程学系唐本忠院士课题组邀请，英国巴斯（Bath）大学化学系Steven D. Bull 和Tony D. James两位教授于2013年9月12日来访，将于9月13日上午9点在高分子大楼228多功能厅分别做题为“'Boronic Acid Templated Self Assembly Protocols for Analysis of Enantiomeric Purity”和“Exploiting the Reversible Covalent Bonding of Boronic Acids: Recognition, Sensing and Assembly”的学术报告。
两位教授都是糖化学和化学与生物荧光检测研究领域的专家，应邀在Chem. Soc. Rev.和Acc. Chem. Res.著名综述类杂志上撰文介绍该领域的研究进展，这次学术报告将以2013年两人联合发表的Acc. Chem. Res.综述中的有关内容为基础。
