Poster Award
CESB2015 will offer 20 best poster awards, which are kindly sponsored by Oxford University Press. Each winner will receive 100 US dollar in cash at the closing ceremony of the conference.
Oxford University Press (OUP) is a department of the University of Oxford. It furthers the University's objective of excellence in research, scholarship, and education by publishing worldwide. OUP currently publishes over 6,000 titles a year worldwide, in a variety of formats. The range includes dictionaries, English language teaching materials, children's books, journals, scholarly monographs, printed music, higher education textbooks, and schoolbooks.
Oxford University Press also publishes the highest quality journals and delivers this research to the widest possible audience. It publishes over 300 journals, two-thirds of which are published in partnership with learned and professional societies. In 2014, OUP launched Regenerative Biomaterials (RB), the official journal of the Chinese Society of Biomaterials (CSBM).
Regenerative Biomaterials is the official journal of the Chinese Society for Biomaterials (CSBM), which will be an international, interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal concerning frontiers and advances in the new generation of biomaterials and regenerative medicine. The aim of the journal is to provide a forum for original research papers, reviews, clinical case reports, and commentaries on the topics relevant to development of advanced regenerative biomaterials. Manuscripts using novel regenerative technologies and therapeutic approaches for the regeneration and repair of damaged tissues and organs, and manuscripts addressing interactions between biomaterials and cells or tissue, especially stem cells will be considered with high priority. However, studies on cells or stem cells in regenerative medicine but without materials will not be included.
The scope of Regenerative Biomaterials includes but not limit to following areas:
Design, synthesis, and evaluation of biomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine
Nanotechnologies and novel processing for preparing biomimetic scaffolds
Interaction of biomaterial with cells, especially with stem cells
Regenerative mechanisms of tissue by using biomaterials and/or stem cells
Drug/gene delivery materials and methods
Clinical applications of regenerative biomaterials
Scientific bases of evaluation and quality control of biomedical materials
Surface modification of biomaterials
Safety assessment of biomedical materials
Stem cells fate controlled by materials signals
Improvement of implanted medical devices
Biomechanics of biomaterials and devices
Regenerative engineering
