Postdoc fellow recruitment in Prof. Changyou Gao’s lab in Zhejiang University

Changyou Gao, Ph.D, Professor, Chair of Department of Polymer Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University. He was awarded with the National Science Fund Award for Distinguished Young Scholars of China in 2004, and was appointed as a Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education in 2007. He was elected as a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) in 2017, and a fellow of the International Union of Societies of Biomaterials Science and Engineering (FBSE) in 2016. His research is focused on the development of biomaterials for tissue engineering and regenerative medicine (myocardic infarction, perpheral and central nerves, blood vessel, cartilage and subchondral bone, and dermis), and colloidal biomaterials and their cellular interactions. In recent years he has been focusing on the tissue-microenvironment-responsive polymers, self-adaptive biomaterials for tissue regeneration, and gradient biomaterials for mediating cell migration and differentiation. He has published about 70 granted patents, 11 books/book chapters, and over 400 papers in pear-reviewed journals (WOS H-index 62, citations > 10,000).

The majors of postdoc candidates: polymer synthesis; cell biology.

Research works: Design and synthesis of tissue microenvironment-responsive polymers; Immune-modulation of self-adaptive biomaterials in vitro and in vivo.

Salary: 180 k RMB/year or high.

Duration: 2-6 years, negotiable.
