| Group Members Attended TERMIS-AP 2013 Annual Conference |

Tissue Engineering and Regeneration Medicine International Society-AP annual conference(TERMIS-AP) is Annual international event of the field of tissue engineering and regeneration medicine, is the most influential academic conference in Asian-Pacific region. There are many countries such as Australia, Korea, Singapore having held Asia-Pacific conference successfully. In the efforts of Pro. Yilin Cao and Pro. Wei Liu 2010,China has obtained the host of TERMIS-AP 2013 Annual Conference.
The conference was held in Wuzhen and Shanghai during 23-26 Oct,2013. Attracted by the conference, numberous experts and scholars from colleges, universities, research institutions, hospitals,companies both at home and abroad gathered and explored the latest research and progress in stem cells, biomaterials, bioreactors, biomechanics et al. Pro.David Williams, academician Zhang Xingdong, academician Dai Kerong and other well-known experts and professors were invited to give a meeting lecture. Based on the purpose of combining research with clinical application, this conference built an international communication platform for those involving in tissue engineering, medicine, molecular biology, cytobiology.
Prof. Changyou Gao, Prof. Lie Ma, and students including Tanchen Ren, Pengfei Jiang, Dongming Xing, Shan Yu, Sai Wu attended the conference.
Pro. Gao presided over the special report named “Biopolymer”, and gave an invited speech about Designed Biomaterials for the in situ Tissue Regeneration and Cell Migration, which won the high evaluation from counterparts at home and abroad.
Pro. Ma gave an oral report about Skin Scarless Repair by a Collagen/Chitosan-Silicone Membrane Bilayered Dermal Equivalent: a Gene-Silencing Strategy.
Besides, group students had a excellent performance in this conference. Tanchen Ren gave an oral report “Cell migration guided by poly(2-hydroxylethyl methacrylate) thickness gradient”. Dongming Xing reported Biodegradable Polyesters with Pendant Neurotransmitter for Neural Tissue engineering. Pengfei Jiang reported Influence of Polymeric Particles Internalization on Mesenchymal Stem Cell Differentiation. Shan Yu gave a presentation named Cell Migration Guided By Gelatin Density Gradient On PCL Membranes. Sai Wu gave an oral named Role of Adsorbed Serum Proteins on Hydroxyapatite-coated Titanium in Cell Morphology and Adhesion.
Through active participation in this conference, our group deepen the communication and cooperation with counterparts at home and abroad, expand the influence in the field of biomaterials, tissue engeneering and regeneration medicine.
